Jesus I remember being so excited to watch this especially since I was buying the volumes since the first one came out back when I was in high school in 2013. Nowadays it's so meandering I have no clue what Okayado's trying to do. Cerea,Tio, and Cathyl best girls.

More than anything I want to see manga chapters where the possibility of a harem is brought up and the characters react to and fight about it. It's easy to imagine them forming lines, Miia and Cerea wanting monogamy, Rachnera and Papi supporting the harem, Suu and Lala undecided/indifferent, and Mero as a wildcard. I wouldn't mind either outcome, the girls finally deciding to share him or redoubling each of their efforts to keep him for themselves, as long as it makes their intentions for kimihito and each other clearer after so many chapters of being forgotten.

I hate that you're right. Every chapter is a new chick to say "Hey, isn't it cool we made a monster girl out of X"? Who we will never see again after that chapter. How many chapters ago was it that one of the main girls had a scene that actually let them contribute to the story? All of the main girls are so great, it's painful to see that the manga has fallen this far.

New girls are fine, especially when they have a place that fits in to the world, and we get to see the main girls interacting with them. Pic related was 2 years ago. Please free me. The problem is that "Introduce a new girl and have Kimihito deal with them" has become the formula for the series. Especially bad since it seems we're scraping the bottom of a barrel for new species now. I'd much rather see another normal monster girl than a wacky subspecies. Makes the world feel as deep as a puddle.

It kinda of always has been this way, it just wasn't as bad when every new girl was joining the main cast and was a classic monster with no frills.
