It feels simultaneously rushed and slow, because they're adding all these pages showing people moving around but adding less context than what we're used to. The buildup of Guts feeling worthless began when he couldn't catch Casca on the boat, then the fact he couldn't completely heal her from trauma, and finally Griffith invalidating his entire journey in a few pages. I have to wonder if friendship has made Guts complacent to an extent, and how it'll also pull him back into being a hero again.
