I liked Evangelion and End of Evangelion when i watched it a few years ago, but i'm not really sold that these movies are worth the time investment (or were even necessary). End of Evangelion had such a great ending that i'm actually kinda annoyed by the fact that Anno couldn't just let this shit go and come up with something new.

What are your thoughts on the rebuild movies? Is it kino or was it just an easy paycheck for Anno?

You know he quite literally broke one of his legs, within the last couple of years, and had to cancel appearances because he was running around a children's playground dressed up as Ultraman

everything after end of eva just feels like a bad fanfiction that they somehow canonized.
It even messes it's own lore, like seriously you get shit like misato piloting eva, or there retconing selle so they have an enemy organization for no reason.

Oh also 4 impact which makes no sense.
Third was what the humans called instrumentality, how can there be anything else beyond that it makes no sense.

yeah, im fine with these movies existing despite being garbage but i cannot forgive the fact that he wasted a decade of the studio to give life to this shit.
