It's interesting getting the context for the finale. I had only read the finale and the first chapter on Mangaplus way back when so I had no idea how a poor abused suicidal boy would end up with 'that' ending, so it's fun to have followed this with all of you.

It's almost like making a battle manga where one of the fundamental powers is to be completely immune to any form of attacks was a bad idea conceptually.
Every single tense moment devolved into a hostage situation because the wings just completely negate any arrows. For that matter, the white arrows barely seem to actually do anything, every single showdown is framed as if hitting with a red arrow would be a victory too and they function the exact same.
For a guy who has no qualms whatsoever about making new rules up on the fly you would think the power system would evolve or start to function after multiple years of runtime.
