That's quite an overstatement. I dropped this waaay before any of the truly controversial shit happen, it was obvious from the start that people were reading whatever they wanted from it and bound to be disapointed.

Near the start I pointed out how ridiculous the whole situation with the walls and their method of defense was and I remember as if it was today how most people, rather than getting that I was pointing out it might mean the premise was false, accused me of not getting it, or pointing out how "If humans were in that situation if anything we would be worse".

Honestly, I was ok, certainly different. But best anything? No, I am just happy he straight up fucked all the retards that read / watch in the ass.

For fuck sake. The first chapter literally starts with a 60 meters titan making his apparence out from fucking nowhere, kicking just a small hole instead of wrecking the whole wall, than fucking off in a second and very “conveniently” a second abnormal titan in full armor just dashed against the opposite end to open a breach in the wall
If these were just normal titan, people would’ve spotted the first one from miles away (like happened with Rod in uprising arc), and the two would’ve destroyed shigashina togheter instead of fucking off.
It was always going to be a very fishy invasion instead of a classic random monster attack!
