Personally speaking, despite its flaws (mainly a minor pretentious streak and slowing down pretty roughly around episode 5 or 6), I still think the Tatami Galaxy is still one of, if not, the best anime I've ever personally seen. The unique art style alone puts it in my top ten, but the relatability of the Protagonist and sense of humor has been unmatched save a few I've seen. It also has the best opening son of any anime, ever, as far as I'm concerned (although I was an AKFG fan prior to seeing it since watching the Solanin movie so I may be biased)

Great taste anon. Tatami Galaxy, AKFG, and Solanin are also my favorites. Tatami Galaxy really reminds me of my college days. It resonates deeply with the worries I had back then. I went to Kyoto and visited Kamogawa Delta, you can imagine how happy I am there, and wish I had lived there.

The character art is a bit rough around the edges, but the style in which it's made, the characterization and the way the plot is presented make it a very enjoyable watch to me, and I keep returning to it over and over.

The ship is my second favorite arc, with original bakeneko being top, but it's all matter of taste. The one I consider the weakest is nopperabo (the one with masked man), which seems to actually be the favorite of a lot of other people, but to me it feels a bit too dragged out, even though I understand the girl couldn't just change her way of thinking in 5 minutes.

One anime that genuinely changed my life for the better would be girls last tour. I'd love to see the rest of the manga get an anime-adaptation someday. Highly recommend it, mostly a wholesome slice of life, even with the bleak post-apocalyptic setting.

That's great and all but which out of these are actually complete and not forever waiting on a S2?
I can accept even those that ended at a conclusive point in the story (either due to the original material going to shit afterwards or simply being ongoing forever).
