I like the style at least for 80's and 90's stuff, it's crazy what Japan can do with American budgets, it's perfect mix of smooth US animation and Japanese choppiness that gives it this nice look, always felt like cartoons like Disney shit too smooth but anime sometimes too choppy but shit like this is perfect.

Japan really good at animating simple designs, which is funny given the detail in anime which kinda kills animation because they lose budget due to the designs being so detailed, I mean it's why Panty and Stocking actually has like character acting when they talk in like every scene and not only the major ones.
