Looks like a huge win for the week community. People used to watch weebshit alone and only talk about it with on 4chan , but now you can invite your friends over to hang out, eat pocky and watch anime on Netflix.

honestly i was a die hard sub fan until i got a second monitor
then it became easier to watch second screen if its dub, and the quality of dubs have really improved compared to back in the day (boomer)
if its a series thats really good or i really care about, i'll watch sub for the full experience, but if its for like most anime... dub is just fine imho

i dont have time to watch all the shows i want, play all the games i want, shitpost all the threads i want, in the time off i have before i have to go to bed to go to work
i love anime and went long years of not watching it because i just didnt have the bandwidth to be single threaded with subs
now i get to enjoy watching anime while gaming or doing other things (or responding to work emails late)
again, for anime i really like or that i know the sub is really good, i'll devote time to watching subs
but lets be honest, most anime is isekai schlock anyway that doesnt deserve primary screen time anyway
if its good i'll promote it to main screen and sub

I am triggered just knowing this. Anime was good when there was a barrier of entry. EG downloading pirating, downloading codecs and your favorite subbers and mashing it together.

Now there is no barrier, normal fags think trash is peak because they havent had decades of reference or refining taste. Age of sloppa is here and there arent even that many meta animes making fun of the slop. I have barely been able to find one show a season to watch because its so bad.
