Is it possible Oda will have Loki join the Blackbeard pirates instead of the Strawhats? So far, it seems he is drawing a lot of connections between Loki and Xebec. Could it be that Loki has inherited Xebec's "true will" whereas Blackbeard only has a misinterpreted idea of what Xebec's will is?
