NTA but at this point when I read the manga the dub voice is what I hear in my head. It just gives off a soft "older woman" vibe that I imagine Frieren having. While still being light enough that her poutiness and glee at finding grimoires or treasure chest feels genuine. It's still cute, but in the way an aunt can be cute.

I disagree, since it's not that her voice sounds weary with age. Rather that she just sounds calm and well lived. Which someone even in their mid-20s might have depending on their upbringing. Frieren herself always seems very calm and non-plussed by most things. She's very matter-of-fact and respectful, even when not being polite. I dunno. It fits well for me.
