Now that's the proper way! I liked the mage's gimmick, using a golf club to cast was funny. Also it felt like Konosuba before Konosuba. I liked Aegis of Uruk that was like a parody of dungeon adventures over Sword of Uruk that took itself more serious.

I wish there was more fantasy like it, but you can't count on originality from Japan.

The show had real subtle comedy that's hard to put into words. I guess its more like they never overreact to stuff like most anime. It just had this really great way of mixing seriousness with this subtle comedy, along with character deaths so there were still stakes. It was really a great adventure series while still being part comedy here or there.

I think this is the kind of show only studio GONZO could pull off.
