The problem is it has no balance and the author has no fucking restraint when it comes the excessive dialogue where theyโre either praising someone a shitload, highlighting every perfect detail they notice/like in the person or pleading and apologizing like they killed that personโs grandma. Worse is the author never lets the audience breathe and constantly moves from drama to near immediate communication resolution (then add some fluff here and there), rinse and repeat. The best parts will be the parents but the main romance writing is as subtle as a brick wall, with the side ships being a little bit better.
