Children shows in the early 70s were grvtal tho. Gatchaman was made to sell Popy vynil figures and god phoenix toys for 6 years old kids and characters there cussed, fights were bloody and the Yoshida brothers didn't have qualms about showing the horrors of Galactor's plans.
