This. I found myself skipping over large segments just to see what Sasuke was getting up to. Naruto's whole arc kinda ended pre-shippuden. He just does the exact same thing over and over and the only evolution we see is his power and creative solutions to his deficiencies.

Meanwhile Sasuke goes from hating Itachi, to hating the leaf to creating the situion that led to this, to hating the kage to wanting to remake the whole thing with his own hate as the epicenter. It was far, far more interesting to see Sasuke go from one conclusion to the next. Naruto's entire arc is "just be nice"

Uchihas were anything but generic. Bakugou is just Sasuke but generic. Most shonen mangaka won't have the deuteragonist be independent or be opposed to the MC for that long. Bakugou exists in deku's story. Sasuke had a whole other life outside of Naruto's influence.

I have to disagree just on the part that I don't think those are the best arcs (Golden Age and Black Swordsman are my favorite) but the other characters like Farnese, Isidro, Serpico, etc. really make the story that much more appealing to me.
