>>280544197The good part was that Misaki finally admitting to being in love with Usui was a rant of hatred with Misaki hating Usui till the bitter end but also falling in love with him rather than the garbo “You're totally forgiven and I'm now completely in love with you ze end.” crap but yeah after that nothing eventful.
This is the difference between an actual romance story like The Fault in Our Stars or Brokeback Mountain and vapid wish fullfilment that has no real planned plot.
The moment leading up to Misaki finally realizing it was also so stupid.
>22 episodes of utterly stagnant relationship with the same admittedly amusing crap repeated over and over again of Misaki being in utter denial>Last two episodes, Misaki suddenly starts to realize it, no reason given why and boom, then the final ending kiss. These people can't write a story, they can write what turns them on, there is a difference. The endings often feel utterly fangless and pointless and they just get together and get married and then have children and that's it. It doesn't end with something that has an impact on the reader at all and it's utterly formulaic.
I really dislike these kinds of love stories that don't have a beginning, middle or end, it's just a countless wall of the same shit repeated until finally at the end they get together with no real plausible reason why then and not sooner.
