I don't really like this show. I think the style of humour is not for me. That being said, the anime looks fucking gorgeous. I've said it before that Kyoani waste their visual talent on medicore stories but the fact that they're still keeping at it delivering quality of this level is worthy of praise. This is the most beautifully polished turd I've ever seen. I fucking kneel.

14 years on from Nichijou and people are still getting filtered by the humor and complaining about KyoAni "wasting their talent"

It's funny, it's well animated, and it causes people who don't get it to perpetually seethe. I kneel, Kyoani.

I say the same thing about their melodrama and yuri/yaoibait crap. I watched the first episode of Tsurune when it came out and the only thing I felt was genuine frustration that they were wasting their talents on such garbage.

But I guess suffering through the times they spend producing garbage makes actually getting to watch stuff like City and Dragon Maid better.

I'm still not sure if it's just an advanced trolling injoke like hyokua putting people to sleep or if people really have this much bad taste
I think it's the former because only kyoani shows get these retarded memes said about them

I wonder if the same people also complain about "unseasoned" food when it's not absolutely SLATHERED in 100% chemically pure capsaicin.

On a production level, City is up there with KyoAni's finest work, which is astounding when you think about how many big talents they lost in the fire. I guess it shows the KyoAni training pipeline is for real
