Absolute boomer bullshit, don't be the aggressor but if anyone touches you (or you know is about to touch you, don't let them get a first shot) you should hit them hard enough that they won't be a threat anymore. That age is pretty much the only time you can get away with minimal repercussions for sending someone to the hospital (or morgue), too.
