Ending spoilers: There is a time skip and it cuts to a now adult Homura alone at a cafe. Suddenly Homura catches a speck of pink hair in her vision and looks over to see a now adult Madoka walking hand in hand with a man. Homura then hears a little girls voice saying "Papa! Mama! Wait for me." As they walk further and further away Homura shows a serene smile having finally let go of her obsession and letting Madoka find true happiness

They really don’t know how to frame a cinematic shot, huh. This is so shit. I was hoping they’d improve on the outdated direction from the 12-episode series. I watched it pretty late (December 2024), and a lot of the shots feel long-winded with awkward angles like it was pulled straight out of Monogatari. Shaft was a mistake.
