Will One Piece be forgotten when it finally ends, ala Game of Thrones? Despite how long it's been running, it was never as culturally impactful or influential as Dragon Ball or even Naruto.

Nah, Oda will actually finish what he started, and I trust him to stick the landing. It'll be fondly remembered by everyone who went along for the journey, and future generations will see it as a classic. Game of Thrones is not at all similar to One Piece either, if anything it could be compared to the way Attack on Titan ended, both being overly violent nihilistic works.
>>280607045 (OP)just like the fruit retcon made the entire series unwatchable the reveal of the one piece as a friendship sandwich will destroy it entirely
>>280607045 (OP)It’s become more mainstream than you think. The only thing Naruto had on it is a somewhat watchable dub which made it more relevant in the U.S. but outside one piece has lapped it years ago. Dragon ball legacy is out of the question.
