That's not true, if I correctly figured out what you meant by NPD.

Our guy cheated by using his prior knowledge to go and steal some sort of DLC loot and then was going to try and relax and live the easy life. He ends up with the girls because he's having to run a counter game to another person that came into the game world and started using their knowledge to fuck with the NPCs and subvert the intended plot of the game playing out.

Just about everything he does is unwillingly and only to prop up his attempt to live life as a nobody.
