It's apparently very popular so even if they planned to only make a short story they're likely going to continue for a while.

I've not been able to find the preorder/announcement for volume 1 to confirm this myself, but apparently it's called volume 上 so it's planned to be either 2 or 3 volumes. the guy who made that claim could very well be making shit up
