No season will ever top GX S3, maybe Battle City. But GX S3 didn't give you a chance to breathe, it was amazing.

It makes sense that the anime staff would continue making the stories they were inclined to make on their own devices. If they were better at emulating Kaz's stories they would have made better filler arcs.
Although I enjoyed the Virtual World arcs. I wish they had gone more in that direction instead.
