Why hasn't this been adapted to an anime yet? I read it a few nights ago and enjoyed it very much. For it being out for so long I'm disappointed it took me this long to discover it.
>>280644690 I have no idea how shit like that happens. Popular manga gets an anime and it's low budget dogshit. Something else like Planetarian, a short VN from 15 years ago, gets an anime an it's pretty good.
It’s a masterpiece of the weird and would be the perfect jumping off point for a large scale project adapting a lot of his work for normie audiences. I am certain a lot of the sex stuff would be toned down and the loli completely gone. Enjoy your Dowman sayman streaming cinematic universe. (Cancelled for low ratings)

>>280655345 Melancholia is one of the best manga I've ever read. The qay the small stories all weave and collide together is so masterful. On the re-read you can see everything hinted and align perfectly. It's like if SZS was a little more wider story focused. I love my short story collections for manga (Hiroki Endo's tappenshu js my favorite for example) but none that were interconnected so tightly. Ultra Jump used to have such cool stuff in it.
