Nube commented that the effect of her astral projection was too strong which didn't happen in the manga. This seems to be a callback to episode 1 intro where Nube is discussing the strange magnetic field in the town. I wonder if they're setting up for a big end of season climax.

Hatamonba next week which probably means a lot of action scenes. This also confirms that they're not following chapters in any order, Hatamonba happens in the chapters 7-8 of the manga which would before episode 2 if we used the manga chronology.
