Sort of a complex question. I think it's more she was disgusted with the parts of him that reminded her of her own weaknesses. She hated his inability to reach out and love her properly, or even himself. She was frustrated having to be compared to him. But she liked to tease him and wanted attention from him. She saw him as both harmless (practice kissed with him), and as a predator at the same time (made sure he felt ashamed of his sexuality whenever he did show interest in her body).
