>>280695280I'm perfectly capable of appreciating a stock premise if it's well-executed, which I feel is the case here. I like the personalities of the characters, I like the way they play off of each other, I like the humor, and I like the emotional core of Yuu working towards a happy family life. In particular, I appreciate the way Yuu has some backbone despite being a big goofball, and that he's willing to push back at the sisters if he feels it's in their best interests. Admittedly, the first two episodes were a little rushed in terms of pacing, which I think made some of the jokes and emotional beats land less well than they did in the manga, but not to any egregious degree. It helps that the voice actors and animators do a good job of bringing across the characters' individual mannerisms.
What did you not like about it, specifically? Did you have a problem with the character designs? Them looking too manly at the start is a sticking point for many people, I've found, though I personally think it enhances the humor. Or was it something about the jokes, the pacing, the story? If the humor and characters didn't jive with you, that's fine, of course, but I'd imagine there's something more to it than just them being "unoriginal".
