This movie came out in 2016 then he sold the rights for all adaptions to Hollywood.
Since then nothings happened with the IP and they can't even make anime for any of the spin off Gantz series.
The author has expressed interest in getting the rights back and making something but unless the studio executives decide to do that then Gantz is kinda dead.

Depends on the frame you've got on the story for that statement. The daily storytime here is currently at the best part of the manga, which was great then and it's great now. It's the final arc that's generally seen as the worst part of the manga, and ending on a low note cripples a manga's lifetime reviews.
