Honestly the only reason I'm watching this is for the Ken Muramatsu soundtrack and even that's kind of underwhelming. The music itself is good but it doesn't fit the animation.
I remember Ishihara being way worse in the manga. I only read like the first 35~ chapters but I remember her being "heavy" and manipulative. She seems kinda nice in the adaptation.
