New battle manga where Charles Darwin (pic related) released the Goetia demons from Hell and is now trying to send them back with the help of "Evolved" humans.
These are the first three chapters with translation attached. My group plans to pick up the manga, but we're looking for a redrawer to help us. If anybody's interested, just say so.

There's a great opportunity to "refluff" how that ended up happening historically in the context of this sort of story, but perhaps that'd be too controversial.

Strictly speaking, D. Gray-Man does this as well, though it's slightly less straight forward: taking place in the 1800's, it also features a Christian-y organization fighting a Satan-y enemy in a Biblically tinged fight. It's version of this is that Japan has fallen and is basically entirely controlled and populated by demon homunculi monsters. It doesn't really call attention to the historical joke being made here, but in principle it's obvious. One of the major heroes (for awhile, it's complicated) is still basically Casey Jones-san here: strong, stoic, pony-tail katana guy (at least at first blush).
