As you may know the doujin series is ending with the release of Doujin 8 in roughly a year and a half.
The manga "still has a ways to go" according to the author.
For doujin 4 and 5 specifically, the manga caught up to those doujins on the timeline in about a year and a half of real time from the doujin publication.
Hopefully that means we've got about 3 years minimum left in the manga, but who knows?

According to the English localizer of the doujin, the author told them that he had no plans to have the characters switch from last names to first names when they were localizing doujin 1. Based on that, they decided to just use first names only which bit them in the butt when doujin 4 and 5 rolled around.
