I'm a Gojofag but this sounds like a technicality more than anything else. It's ore like Gege saying " Well actually Gojo won the bout" meaning that Sukuna was forced to use even more underhanded methods to eke out a victory but still he won.

In that same interview he says Gojo would have noticed the world dismantle was different from regular dismantle, it's the reason why Sukuna had to sneak it in to begin with. Had Gojo not let his guard down and dodged, he would have been more than a match for Sukuna even with the physical body healed.
