I never used to watch subs when I was younger, but I watch both now. If I'm watching a show that has both I'll watch at least five minutes of each to see if there's much of a difference, and then just watch the dub because there usually isn't.

Im not sure if its connected but when watching subs it requires 100% attention obviously, but the dialogue and logic can be really bad. Any sort of lapse of concentration from the screen means Im not watching OR hearing the show. So I either take all the bad dialogue in or press the pause button.

What If I pay less attention overall so the shit dialogue with characters acting retarded doesnt hurt as much? Maybe dubs help with that.
Like the characters act annoying and I just browse 4chan instead and listen the eng dialogue with half concentration a bit and when they stop being retarded I go back to watching it.
