Hello. The website I use to watch anime has a random button and I thought it’d be fun to do a random anime review and I landed on Gatchaman Crowds.
I’ll be upfront. I came here to share my video but now that I’m here, I wanted to ask genuinely if anyone remembered this show and if you liked it.

While doing the bare minimum of research, it felt like this anime only had like 10 people all across the internet talking about it and discussing whether or not the anime was good. Granted it’s old, it’s all the way from 2013. I don’t remember what was out back then, maybe it got overshadowed.

But I think it was decent enough to warrant at least more than 10 people in its fandom. Idk. The music this anime got is some of the best I’ve heard. If you don’t give my video or the anime a chance, at least check out the music. I think it’s really good

This anime was entertaining enough, and had a good OP.
The thing is, half of characters are shit and I only ever gave a fuck about 3 from the fists season.
FMC is SEX.
Rui is SEX, and the fact the plot seems to Ryona him often is also very SEX.
And Berg Katze... It's kinda sex too? A good villain, and I especially like how in second season FMC who's usually a friendly caring person to everyone else, has him slaved inside her mind and treats him like the parasite shit he is which is amusing and makes her very based
But the fact FMC and Rui didn't have savage sex onscreen makes the series 10 times worse.

It was popular when airing, including here. Not popular enough to be a mainstay in the end though.

You know. That makes sense because it did get a second season and I kept thinking that the only way things ever get a second season is if people in Japan fw it. At least that’s my logic.

But I also do get the whole mainstay, it was trying to be something different. I think it succeeded but I also saw people back in 2013 arguing about it and saying it failed at all of its messaging.

It was a fairly interesting pair with S1.focusing on extreme individualism and S2 focusing on extreme collectivism.
