The consumption went down a lot but why would you grow out of it? It's like growing out of movies or books, it doesn't really make sense. Either the topics and presentation of the show/manga interest you or not, there's not much else to it

I think in the pas year or so. I still watch it but it certainly doesn't give the same highs anymore and feels childish most of the times

When I started reading more manga like 15 years ago. I’m 36 now. I still watch some anime, but usually only of a manga I’ve read that has started to get adapted.

I watch more anime and read more manga (in terms of numbers and diversity) than when I was a teenager. I was a shonenshitter primarily back then. I wish I had branched off earlier. Though I imagine plenty of stuff I like now I wouldn't have liked back then.
