Cowboy Bebop is considerably worse in English. It has Ace Attorney syndrome where the localization made sure to whitewash all allusions to anything Japanese or Japanese culture related. There's a reason why most Amerifats think Spike is supposed to be a Jewish-American when he's very obviously Japanese. Its just not obvious to anyone who is a dub luddite.
