True, that's what I was thinking, but to be honest so did Sousuke, since he decided to part with the Amanos and even works for the competition. Iirc dad also had to build that wealth himself, so it ultimately makes sense. Only Erika got to be raised like a princess Anne it's ok because it's cute.

I think Cuckoo is fine as is. I don’t care about the plot and it’s not astoundingly good or bad, but as a whole it’s sort of a guilty pleasure. Like eating chips that are not my favorite but still tasty. When i’m finished i’ll throw away the bag and enjoy a new one next week.
