I won't hold my breath. I enjoyed season 1 a lot, but I went in with no expectations at all (only watched it for curiosity because every one said the game sucked at launch). Honestly S1 is an excellent piece on its own, but had I watched it with another mindset I may come away with a different experience

Season 1 wasn't that great so it's definitely possible. Ikarashi is good with gritty psychological drama so he should be right in his element, unlike Imaishi forcing himself to do something "normal".
