Having a tattoo in the public baths is more intimidating than having an erection.

I'm pretty sure people who get/like tattoos have some brain malfunction, like there is actively something damaged/wrong in their brain that makes blemishes look attractive. There needs to be a proper medical research on this, with MRIs and shit, maybe its possible to cure this thing or maybe it has correlation with dementia or other cognitive alignments.
but that is in the future, for now do the world a favor

are you bald and only wear white-shirts too, because god forbid people want to look more than just plain basic?
Just like with regular fashion some people can overdo it, and of course since it's mostly permanent one has to be careful about what to put on it(which unfortunately many don't), but all it means is you have to be careful.

I simply dislike blemished skin. As my sight traces the path on the body the moment it hits a tattoo I experience a wave of disgust. its like looking at a turd smeared over the work of art, its not supposed to be here yet it is. It's viscerally disgusting no matter how complex or simple the turd is.

Not quite, I'm pretty sure this whole tattoo thing has the same roots as picking skin/biting nails but more advanced, either its some fancy stress disorder or it truly is inheritable and then its much worse. There are also people who failed for marketing and social pressures. Naturally they will defend their mental illness, as it is their way to cope but it doesn't change the fact that they find blemishes attractive, at least I hope they do because otherwise they were bullied into liking them by social pressure.

The bleach espada numbers are all tattoos too, so if you've ever liked their design you've liked a tat

I have tats.
They're bothersome or people mention them and you forget that you have them and you suddenly have to remember why you got them.

After a while they lose their flair. Remember that when you get them. They're also not forever, they start fading after 20 years. So cover ups can be literally anything on top after that, it just has to be a dark tattoo.
