Japanese are usually brown, although on the lighter end of the spectrum. Shirou is white-skinned which is much less common, so it’s unclear why Archer lost his normal skin tone and became a more normal brown. Maybe he got really tanned and got put into the Throne that way?

Basically this, magic circuits in the nasuverse function like electric wires IRL in that they can overheat quite a bit if they are overloaded or are abused to extreme degrees. So him turning brown is basically a visual sign of him suffering inside out burn trauma.

He literally only counters Gilgamesh's GoB, and even then if Gil actually took redman seriously he would stomp him with something like Ea. Every other decently strong servant can also stomp him as well.
I love the fuck out of UBW and think it's one of the coolest powers in fiction, but it's really nothing special in comparison to the other broken shit there is in Stay Night, let alone in the rest of the franchise.

He has more than 1 circuit, he was just never taught how to use them properly.
The reason he is able to summon swords and stuff is because of how he was saved from the fire by Kiritsugu implanting Avalon in Shirou to give him some healing hax, unintentionally also caused both his Element and Origin to become: Sword. On a conceptual level he is united with mythological weaponry.

UBW is the cheap dollar store version of Gate of Babylon in execution. While GoB need to summon the weapons before throwing them, UBW generate them out of thin air. The quality is inferior but the casting and shoot is faster. This is how he hard countered a not armored and not serious Gil
