When it aired, the threads were all "dude wait until they animate this super awesome scene from the LN" and then that scene comes up and it's not hype at all, and then it's all "they ruined that one, but this part will be better, I guarantee it!" and that scene comes up and yep it's still ass, repeat until the end.

I finished the first arc and thought this show is too lame to keep watching. Loved Baccano though.
