i dont like this guy. theres something off about him. actually i think just about every character in this show is just kind of shit (so far. im up to episode 6). going from watching one punch man to this show makes me realize just how good the character writing in one punch man is in comparison.

Yeah, Deku is kind of a big bitch and he stays that way for the entire story.

Just read the manga. The women are way hotter there

opm s1 is the only good and enjoyable anime ever made. the rest of the anime are slop. though, kino leveling was a little good.

He reads like someone compiling a list of platitudes into one character rather than a genuinely kind person
It's the smaller moments like Yuji telling Gojo to turn off Infinity so he can pat him on the back or Tanjirou recognizing Zenitsu protected his box just because it was important to him that make kind characters feel genuine in addition to the big sacrificial hero moments
I never got that same warmth from Deku. He just felt like a caricature
