Just a bad spirit. Yknow, the usual kind. Like Dark Gathering.

I've finished episode 2 now. I'm dropping this show.
It sucks. The authors representation of AI, and world building is retarded.

Also the protagonist is a cuck, and a retard.

I couldn't get past episode 1 because of MC being a pushover retard
>admits to a crime he didn't commit, without realizing it would fuck up his entire life forever
Just take your fucking chances in court
>wife blames the cheating on him because he's been absent from raising a child
Again, this retard should've realized the cheating started BEFORE the girl was even born, because it's not his
>paying child support and compensation to the wife
Not his kid, he shouldn't have to pay SHIT, nor compensate the wife for her work on the house and raising of the kid because it wasn't his, she was just freeloading. In fact she was the one at fault and breaching the obligations of a wife within marriage
The whole thing was infuriating and I can't symphatize with people like that.

The guide was actively causing this situation in the background, including leading everything up to Liam's "crashout" and realization. Court wouldn't decide his compensation? The guide just mindfucks the judge of the case real quick - problem solved. That's how he operates.
And for all we know even the kid not being his could be fake. At least the guide does pull stuff like swapping around the official papers of people at times (e.g. next arc after what the anime covered) so it's entirely possible that the guide tricked both Liam and his ex-wife on this matter.

At least he sent the guy to prison and turned the ex wife into a single mom. She probably ended up as a prostitute that beats her child and blame her for everything (because she was somewhat pretty and had no skills)

He may have been gullible and a wimp but it´s unfair to blame him just because he trusted his wife. Marriage is about trust more than it is about anything else, even love or family. It´s a partnership. If you can´t risk trusting you have no business getting married, just stay single or engage in more casual relationships.

If anything blame him for choosing poorly and marrying too young. Off course it kind of doesn´t help that these generation seems self indulgent and self centered to the point lacking empathy and values is common place.

You pretty much got it right on what happened with the wife, though it's more that she bums off her daughter and even contemplates making her prostitute herself. I think the volume with Liam's daughter in general was an important one for why he's willing to try again.
