When was the last time an anime caused you to have an emotional reaction?

Same for me, Madoka was the last show that made me feel something, after that not a single show came out that made me feel.

I felt that Madoka's conclusion was too derivative of other semi-abstract grand scale pieces, obviously and especially evangelion
I've seen that kind of thing too much for it to get me again

Only anime thatโ€™s ever made me shed a tear is the finale of Gunbuster. Most anime can elicit some kind of reaction from me emotionally, if thereโ€™s zero connection I canโ€™t imagine liking it.

Picrel from Clannad years and years ago.
There didn't need to be anything overly dramatic or anything. It was just real.
I still got teary-eyed rewatching it on youtube now

Madoka hurt me in a way not much else ever really has (at least with fiction). For a week straight after finishing Rebellion I'd still be tearing up about it. The only thing i can compare it to would be Stone Ocean and Steel Ball Run but i got over both of those in a few days at most. It felt more like going through a fucking breakup then watching an Anime end

You're a retard who lacks enough psychological development to seek out new and good things. You're only describing your own stagnation

I get emotional very often, but the two strongest and most earned reactions were the end of sora tori mo tooi basho and the scene in non non biyori where renge makes a new freind during summer

That would require a desire to seek something out. Instead of, you know, being a bitch who only complains and can't appreciate anything anymore.
