I'm enjoying the characters' complexity quite a lot so far, just for some reason the slower scenes feel very tedious and kinda hollow. Do wish the rest of the characters were either more interesting or had less 'screen' time.

The author is at his best when he's writing inner monologue, keeps you guessing as to how much the girls can actually read and understand of each other
