>Development SpeedUnless a series is a hyper-ecchi from the beginning, modern heterosexual romance published for guys is slow. It easily takes most series 100+ chapters just for the characters to kiss. Yuri reaches a happier middle ground of 2-4 volumes.
>Culture of ThreadsIt feels the threads for every moderately popular heterosexual romance series become shitfets where it's constant waifuwars or overreacting. Feels like people in yuri romance actually want to talk about the series in question without 7 layers of irony.
