What exactly has he accomplished in the last 1000 years of fighting the Godhand?

Well if the flashback of his past is anything to go by, he might have actually killed the entire previous roster besides Void.

Welcome to Berserk, the story where nothing of value happens. Miura was so adverse to having things actually happen in his story that he outright repudiated a chapter for "revealing too much" and over 25 years the events of which have still not been made canon. But hey, at least we got to see our lovable JRPG jobber cast spend 10 years on a boat fighting literal cartoon villains, right? At least the 7 Grunbeld fans were satisfied with the unnecessary spinoff, right? 30 years in and we haven't even seen Guts kill a single Godhand member for fuck sake. Miura's autistic perfectionism really held this series back from being truly legendary. I don't give a fuck how good you think Berserk is, no story is worth waiting literal decades to see conclude.

Skull Knight has literally never lost a fight in 1000 years. Whenever he shows up he either turns everyone into sashimi, ties with Zodd, or gets away completely unscathed.

He beats Zodd every time. SK constantly cuts off his limbs while Zodd doesn't nothing to him.

Kek.
I first read Berserk TWENTY YEARS ago, tried to keep up with it for a handful of years, and the 80 or so chapters miura added since then felt like 20 from any sensible manga.
He just couldn't move the story along without going super hard into detail and repitition.

Giant Thunder Tentacle God was a good arc, in hindsight compared to the meandering waffling blahhhhhh that came after. And Arab Demon King arc was and is a SLOG to read.
