This arc is probably where you start to feel something feels off about the series. Like not just Harobote, but everyone feels that being objectively evil or attacking civilians for fun is a much lesser evil than "being a slacker". And even when it gets revealed Seuchin was only pretending to slack off but was still working, he's still hated as a slacker and talked down to by Harobote and the others, like the NPC characters are always firm in their hatred of the main characters who always must be the underdogs. Like the loser heroes that have not saved or protected anything, the other five graduates, are always seen as better than the main four heroes, because "at least they aren't a slacker". Protecting the world from DMC and saving the planet, is seen as ultimately meaningless compared to a guy doing push ups every day because "at least he's still putting on a show for us about how he's working", even if the guy doing push ups has never managed to defeat a single villiain, he's seen as better.
Appearance is rated heavily over results
You had a guy last volume try to murder normal citizens and it was seen as good by Harobote because he hates "team aho" more. Everyone has next to no morals, you don't see it immediately but eventually you start to feel it somewhere in the back of your head.

You shouldn't see malice from heroic chojin, you should only see it from villains.
