>>280925590 All I remember was how based the MC was arguing with some guy standing in the same spot for an entire episode. But I didn't like the pink hair tsundere so it's not worth a rewatch.
>>280925713 I though the plot was alright. It sort of meandered without going anywhere during the second half but I'll take that over other series that completely shit the bed
>>280925695 >>280925713 >>280925790 This girl really made me a fan of Miyuki Sawashiro. I remember that I liked this show, but it has been so long that I remember almost nothing about it.

>>280924742 (OP) I watched it, but cannot recall much beyond the central MacGuffin being some alien device that would reset human civilization if it advanced too far, but I might even be mistaken about that. Also, Shakespeare quotes.

I remember when people thought this show would be the next guilty crown. Turns out it was guilty crown but with an even less interesting plot

The second half was just bizarre with the new character being the hero.

>>280930653 Prettu much yeah I only picked it up because the blonde guy looked like he had potential but all I got for my troubles were mid girls shoving their legs and tits into my face
Very good show and actually tightly written. Nuanced relationships across its main cast, human moments that hit hard as hell (Yoshino's grief) and quite an unique but fulfilling conclusion. Only thing you can argue is that maybe the pacing can be strange at times but I liked it a lot the more I think back on it.
