I haven't had a chance to say it before, but I have sneaking suspicion Osamu and Kido are being set up to be contrasting foils. I'm still a bit uncertain, given Kido before and after being fucked seems very different from Osamu (coming across as a way more jovial in the picture and now way more sinister). There's also the big about how (did we cover it yet?) Kido being the more slow and steady rather than creative thinker backed into a corner.

But something about Osamu being put in his old room, and the way they interact makes me feel like Kido is a Bad End version of him. Like he was where Osamu was now and instead of helping his friends he ended up losing all of them.
