Never played the game but the anime had nice atmosphere, art style, and dialogue pacing.

Last good anime for the 90's and the classic hand drawn style. It is way better looking than the later remake which of course was done didgitally and looked off putting. Of course they hit their stride in ToHeart 2 series.
